Meet Your Instructor

Hi! My name is Kristie and I am a therapist and the founder of Hopeful Horizon Therapy, LLC, specializing in anxiety disorders.  I know how frustrating it can be when coping skills for our client are just not enough. As someone, who has worked with co-occurring disorders for 10 years,  I always found myself wanting to learn more so that my clients can experience long lasting relief. I am very passionate about helping both clients and clinicians move beyond surface-level coping strategies and toward meaningful, lasting change. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and exposure-based interventions into my work, with a strong focus on real-world application.
